This is a revisit on a piece I penned long ago about A Confederacy of Dunces. I hope you will share my love for the book as well as the author and will indulge me this reconsideration.
By the way, Kathleen, when I first saw your post I thought A Confederacy of Dunces was the title of a book on the Biden administration and its foreign policy! I would've had a good laugh over that. Or cried copious tears!
Thank you Kathleen. I will definitely read the book. It reminds me, at least the titel of another book I've read whose author's name now escaped me. It is a company of cowards from the Civil war who ore ordered west and distinguish themselves well there. I believe it's called A Company of Cowards.
I like to read, and at one time in my life actually plowed through law books. After your synopsis, I am sure that I will enjoy the book when I get around to it.
Ordered! Did you know there is A Confederacy of Dunces cookbook? I sure love New Orleans, can't wait to read this!
I will have to check out that cookbook! I keep thinking it would have things like oven wine!
Another superb bit of writing! You never disappoint ! Thank you, Kathleen Wallace!
Thanks Tim ❤️
I could use a book right now that makes me laugh out loud, and it just happens to be available at my library branch! Thanks for the tip, Kathleen!
I hope you enjoy it Diane!

I hope you enjoy it too Zachary! It's definitely not for everyone--you have to appreciate absurdity and a plot that is a bit deranged (in a good way).
